Users are able to set up accounts on either site and make contributions of new articles and enhancements to existing articles. (Accounts established in 2024 and earlier would work on either site with current credentials.) A coordination process between the two sites operates to preserve the constructive changes that are understood to enhance the content.  THPedia is a project that grew out of the original H+Pedia (2015-2024), which was principally maintained by David Wood and Chris Monteiro, with contributions from various other editors in the transhumanist community. Gennady Stolyarov II was the administrator of H+Pedia between January and November 2024 – a time during which continuity was maintained and H+Pedia and THPedia were operated jointly as the same site. Meanwhile, Josh Universe created an experimental site at https://thpedia.org to coordinate with THPedia. On December 9, 2024, the H+Pedia domain was transferred to the Humanity+ organization to be run as a separate encyclopedia by Humanity+, while the THPedia project continues to develop into an open-source encyclopedia for the transhumanist community.   This Virtual Enlightenment Salon will include a demonstration of the capabilities of THPedia on both the stable and experimental sites and the opportunity for viewers to ask questions and make suggestions. On Sunday, December 4, 2022, the U.S. Transhumanist Party invites Steele Archer to announce his return to public speaking and his future plans for creating a show that will carry on the vibrant transhumanist online discourse of previous years. We will reflect upon Steele’s previous prolific activity with the Debt Nation show and The Archer Report in 2019-2020 as well as how online discourse and the venues available for it have changed in the ensuing years and what opportunities are available going forward. Steele Archer provided in-depth coverage of the U.S. Transhumanist Party’s 2019 Presidential Primary and its aftermath – up to the selection of Charlie Kam as the 2020 Presidential Candidate. He then pursued and completed his postgraduate university studies and now seeks to inspire people to join and collaborate in useful and interesting ways which enhance community and personal engagement with the transhumanist movement. In late September 2022, I participated in a panel discussion on transhumanism, hosted by Dr. Ahmed Bouzid. Joining me were Joe Bardin and Andrea Cubitt. We discussed the major aspirations of transhumanism, including the focus on radical life extension and the ways in which technological advancements can solve long-standing societal problems. Dr. Bouzid approaches transhumanism skeptically but with an open mind, and he asked interesting questions that challenged the panelists and made for a dynamic, intellectually engaging conversation. I made my usual case for the imperative of pursuing technological advancements on all fronts, especially with regard to prolonging human lives, curing diseases, and solving the problem of biological aging.
